Bank of Rajasthan wanted a solution to improve data analysis that would help the bank take more informed, market oriented, business decisions.

Solution

With assistance from Natural Technologies, Microsoft Certified Partner, Bank of Rajasthan standardized on Microsoft® Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2005 using BancMate, at its Jaipur central office and over 150 branches across India.

Benefits

HPSCB was faced with the prospect of increased competition from new private and public sector banks. It also faced the challenge of linking all of its branch operations into a cohesive entity to serve its customers.

The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited [HPSCB] is the Apex Bank of H.P state of India. HPSCB is one of the fast growing banks in India having more than 2400 Crores of deposits. HPSCB is the largest State Cooperative Banks in terms of number of branches. It has 181 branches and extension counters of which about 94% is in the rural areas of the state and one branch in Delhi. HPSCB offers a full range of financial Products and services in Himachal Pradesh including deposit taking, electronic banking, term loans and commercial bill acceptances.
Himachal Pradesh has the distinction of having first Coop. Society Registered in India. Cooperative were primarily visualized as specialized agency for financing the credit requirement of rural people in the country particularly agriculture.
The Bank is extending banking facilities in 5 districts viz. KANGRA, KULLU, HAMIRPUR, LAHAUL & SPITI and UNA through our affiliated District Central Co-operative Banks, i.e. The Kangra Central Co-operative Bank and in district SOLAN through another affiliated District Central Co-operative Bank, The Jogindra Central Co-operative Bank as a District Central Cooperative Bank.

Achievements :

The H.P. State Co-operative Bank Ltd. is the National Award Winner, which has been
conferred for achieving overall excellence in banking operations.

The H.P. State Co-operative Bank Ltd. is the first Co-operative Bank of India to
implement Total Branch Automation software in all its branches.
